OUR SPACE
We made our home at The Shops at Riverside in December of 2020, and what a home it has become. Our flagship is 3500 square feet in a space that used to be a Salvatore Ferragamo store. The original concept was conjured as a COVID pivot for our event design brand. The plan was to be in the space from Holiday to Valentine's Day but over three years later we've settled in quite nicely. We create all of our fresh and preserved arrangements in house as well as fulfillment for our online orders. We have hosted classes, charity events, launch parties and holiday parties in our store. ANASTASIA BAKER
A creative space which is a culmination of the event designer's background in film and set design, interior design and the world of luxury events.
Anastasia studied film and while pursuing her degree studied art history for a summer in Urbino, Italy. A trip that proved to be life changing. As a sophomore, Anastasia had already assisted in the art department of independent film sets but this trip to Italy led to the discovery of a completely different way of looking at interiors and fashion and Federico Fellini films.
After Italy, Anastasia went on to design feature films, provide interior design for a school in Hoboken, and under the tutelage of legendary event designer, Raul Avila, work two Met Galas and design an Oscar de la Renta show before the age of 25.While working for Raul Avila Inc, Anastasia climbed from one of three hundred production assistants to one of five full time project managers in three years. She produced events for Ian Schrager, The International Center of Photography and more.At 26, the RAI alum went on to build her own business. Alongside staging multimillion dollar apartments in Manhattan, freelancing for Elegant Affairs, Diversified Production Services and Flowers by Diane.
Knowing next to nothing about retail, a few years later Anastasia went on to open RSVP in a time where there were still masks, social awkwardness and people either still cloistered in their homes or itching to get out of the house. She has grown a loyal client base and gone on to produce events for Visa, Pimco, Valley Hospital, The Cypriot Consulate of New York in venues like The Plaza, The Harvard Club, Edgewood Country Club and some of the most beautiful private homes in Bergen county, Manhattan, Southampton and more. She has been featured in Ethnikos Kirakas (one of the most popular Greek language newspapers), Bergen Magazine and the Scout Guide.
